  7.   { MONEY & BANKS }  *must*  be installed on a hard drive.    Do not attempt
  8.   to install to, or run the program on, a floppy drive.
  9.  
  10.   To install, type:

  12.                  A:INSTALL<enter>     or     B:INSTALL<enter>
  13.  
  14.   There  *must* be at least 1.4MB of free space available on the target hard
  15.   drive.  After installation, the program uses about 880k of space.  The in-
  16.   stall process will use\create a directory on the  destination  drive,  the
  17.   default selection being  \MONEY.    Installation does NOT modify the auto-
  18.   exec.bat or config.sys.
  19.  
  20.   For users UPGRADING from any previous version,  answer  "N"  or  no to the
  21.   prompt asking if this is a new installation.   Answering "N" will  replace
  22.   all needed files EXCEPT data tables that you have been working on.    Your
  23.   data tables will remain intact and usable with upgrade versions.    Please
  24.   retain a current backup of your  \MONEY  directory(ies)  before performing
  25.   the upgrade.

  27.   NEW USERS without a previously installed copy  of  { MONEY & BANKS }  will
  28.   answer "Y" to the prompt asking if this is a new installation.

  30.   UPGRADE users may need to reselect their default printer (on the Utilities
  31.   menu) as the printer codes table is replaced with the latest version.   If
  32.   you have edited the printer codes table, please retain a backup.

  36.   The following paragraph relates *ONLY* to bulletin board downloads:
  37.     If this program was downloaded from a BBS, the installation files may be
  38.     moved to a diskette from which INSTALL.EXE is to be used,  as  indicated
  39.     above.   You may also run INSTALL.EXE from your downloads directory *IF*
  40.     you are installing to a *DIFFERENT* logical drive from the one in  which
  41.     INSTALL.EXE exists.  Do not attempt to install TO a floppy drive.

  44.   You will be given an option to print the documentation  (about  44  pages)
  45.   during installation.   In the program itself,  press <Alt-M> to access the
  46.   on-line documentation; <F1> for context-sensitive help.

  48.   In your Config.sys file, you must have the FILES=  statement set at 30  or
  49.   greater (ie, FILES=30).    (If you are not sure how to do this,  you  will
  50.   find instructions in the Question & Answer  section  at  the  end  of  the
  51.   documentation file, Money.doc.)
